In April of 2002, at the age of 62, Don Wyant was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After nine months of chemotherapy he was declared to be in remission in January of 2003 and spent the rest of 2003 getting his strength back.  In February of 2004 he joined the Lymphoma Society’s “Team In Training" bicycle program and started training. Four months later he completed a 100-mile bicycle ride around Lake Tahoe with 2400 fellow riders from all over the country. He continues to train and participate in local bike rides.

When Don was diagnosed with cancer and started receiving treatment, he began to understand the power of an “Attitude of Gratitude.” Don was so grateful to all of those who were responsible for his cure that he wanted to pay back for his blessings. He now invests his time sharing the lessons he learned during chemo— teaching, motivating, and coaching others on the Power of:
